You need a Propan tank, gas nosle, spark plug and a button. And few other things. Weld nosel and spark plug in exhaust. Sparkplug near the end of it. Connect Propan tank to a nosel and button to a spark plug. Have fun.

You can also just use your exhaust fumes. All you really need is a spark plug and a way to power it.

Here is the easier way to make 5-6ft flames. Buy HEI module($20) it will run a second coil of the ECU signal, a cheap ignition coil($13) a spark plug and a wire. You will need a normally closed relay and a push button.

Here is a full write up.

You can put one on any car you want..
It’s really not that terribly hard to do..
It is dangerous, you can melt your bumper, and you can if you aren’t careful light things that might have leaked on the pavement.. You can also cause damage to other drivers cars, which can result in some heavy out of pocket fines..

All that being said..
In older cars it’s easier..
You have to make the car run rich, remove the cat, and put a spark plug in the exhaust tip.
Use an igniter, or modify a gas-grill push button start to a switch and just blip the switch when you want to shoot flames..

On newer cars, you would need to tune the car to run rich and do the same thing..
Rolling around with propane or natural gas to make an open flame in the rear of the car sounds like a good idea, especially if you get rear-ended.. will make dental records a requirement..

Honestly if you want to make flames, just buy a rotary 13 and do what everyone else does..
Tune it..
