Fast Facts: Aston Martin Vulcan
It’s fast. It’s loud and it’s named after a Cold War bomber. It is of course the Aston Martin Vulcan…
1: It’s very exclusive
To be able to see a Vulcan is a brilliant thing, but to own one? Well you have to be very wealthy for that to happen. If everyone in the UK chipped in 33p we could buy a Vulcan. Of course that would never happen as all 24 units are accounted for.
2: It could drive upside down
This is just hypothetical, but because the Vulcan can create its own body weight in downforce it, in theory, could drive upside down. However, in practice I wouldn’t want to be the one to explain why one of the 24 Vulcans is on it’s roof. And on fire…
3: It’s got an evil twin
During the 2017 Goodwood Festival Of Speed, Aston Martin released the Vulcan AMR Pro. The AMR Pro still has the same 820 HP 7 litre V12 but it now has shorter gear ratios and heavily revised aerodynamics. And no you can’t buy one…
