5 Reasons Driving With Friends Is Better Than Driving Alone
Admittedly, there are downsides to driving with friends (weight reduction bro). However, it seems as if life is more enjoyable with friends by your side, especially when you both share a passion for cars. Here are some ways friends can improve your driving experience.
One You can have your own co driver
Having a co driver can have many benefits. You have someone to give you driving advice, keep an eye out for police, deer and kangaroos, and if needed, shout at you to SLOW THE $#!) DOWN! Arguably, the added weight is worth it for a co driver.
Two You have someone to compete against.
There’s nothing like a little friendly competition to spice things up out on the tarmac (or the dirt). Whether you’re trying to keep pace with one each other, trying to top each other’s driving achievements, or going on a new adventure, it just makes driving more exciting. Admit it, you and your friend(s) have drag raced each other at least once. When it comes to driving, the more the merrier.
Three Better road trips
When you road trip with your buddy(s), you have your own personal DJ, photographer, navigation system, mechanic and snack dispenser. If you want to cover a lot of ground in one day, you can take turns driving so none of you falls asleep at the wheel. You can sing along together to your favorite jams, tell each other jokes and funny stories, and just have a ball.
Four You can taxi each other around
Is your car not running, don’t have a car, you’re drunk or high, or gas costs too much? Just get a ride from a friend. Whether you pay each other for rides or not, it’s still beneficial to taxi each other around town.
Five You have someone to help you when the crap hits the fan.
Get stuck in the snow or mud? Phone a friend. Pop a tire? Phone a friend. Run out of gas? Phone a friend. Friends can help you out when you’re in a pickle, and that’s great. If you were driving alone and you got stuck or ran out of gas, that would be really bad.

Not gonna lie I’ve never drag raced any of my friends. Attacking back roads is a totally different story.
