this makes me think twice to go to the Nürburgring
What about the grass? That usually costs money to fix aswell
I doubt it. Costs money yes but if they charged for grass damage they’d have to charge everyone who ever ran wide or cut a corner, which happens a lot. Seems more likely they just do grass under general maintenance. In which case you’d still be paying for the grass every time you pay for a lap lol
Just drive a really slow AWD car with extremely wide tyres and loads of downforce. Hard to crash accidentally.
Can be mega expensive. I have been twice for several days at a time with friends. We all had a fantastic time. None of us had any accidents but we seen the results of others who did and there were plenty of them. Apart from the obvious damage to their own cars, you are responsible for the grass, amco, track clearance, track closure time, and vehicle removal. Costs can run into 10s of thousands. We experienced 2 very bad crashes whilst there that also required an air ambulance and a fire engine in addition to all the other stuff. These also included loss of life. I would go back again tomorrow but it is probably the most dangerous track in the world.
