"So here’s a question: why are women such bad drivers? Really. I really want to know, because it’s driving me nuts." - Erin Baker

dom idk

Well, in the case of one I know (stepsister), Entitlement: mommy bought her car for her, so she doesn’t have a real attachment to it and therefore doesn’t care. And overall stupidity: she has the iq of a sofa. Those two together make a driver that crashes into minor stuff on a weekly basis and drives around without an oil cap for 2-3 weeks

Well most people that don’t care about cars and driving in general are bad drivers, its just happen that most women don’t care about so thats why they drive so bad. To them a car is a metal box with wheels that gets them from point A to point B, and i believe that because all men i know that are bad drivers (and i mean really bad) don’t know nothing about cars. When there is not love there won’t be skills

What she’s trying to say, I think, is that a lot of women don’t TRY to be better because everyone has this ‘cars are for men’ attitude.

Let’s be honest, old people on the road are far more dangerous, regardless of gender. And to play on stereotypes, men tend to be more aggressive behind the wheel. I think I know where she’s coming from, but it’s a bit misguided in my opinion.

It’s been my experience that when someone is tailing me, especially when they are super close, it’s been a woman driving. The kicker is, I’m not driving slow and they can easily go around me….. Yeah men will tailgate me as well, but usually it’s not so close that I can’t see their headlights…

I’ve been teaching my sister to drive and it’s been interesting to say the least. I don’t think women are physically incapable or inferior, I just think they generally don’t care much about driving and they are usually thinking about more than one thing instead of focusing only on driving. I think men are more logical thinkers, making driving a bit more natural to them. I’m not saying that’s better, just stating my experience.

I’m not saying one way or another, but as much as I hate to say it, stereotypes exist for a reason. I mean how often has a girl said “I saw a cool car.” “What’d you see?” “It was a white one” (facepalm) Generally speaking, women seem less interested in cars and driving then men.

If I had to summarize (particularly with teenagers), men are overly aggressive and women are often times oblivious. There are exceptions to every rule though…

It’s worth mentioning that there are plenty of men that drive like absolute crap. It’s almost as if men intentionally try to drive as a**holes and women do it unintentionally?
