So…after about 9-10 mon-I mean, years of not writing blogposts due to being busy, and the fact that user activity has dropped in CarThrottle, thus dropping my motivation on writing for fun, I decided to go back to my old self from late 2015. But, I don’t have cars to review or researched lists to be made so, I decided to do a small little quicklist writeup about the two things I really like in my life: motorsport and tobacco.

There are certain JDM cars which have become very well known on the internet, thanks to the Grand Turismo games, F&F films, or Initial D. These well-known JDM cars include the Nissan Skyline GTR (particularly the R34), the Toyota Supra, the Toyota AE86, and more besides. Today, we will concentrate on the lesser-known cars. Toyota Celica GT4

Oh boy, what a way to start. First off, I’d like to say that I’m about to get slammed with Swedish and Norwegian Car Throttle readers. I can already hear them: “We already know this!” Fantastic, the problem is that most others do not. Let’s start by first going over what makes a good drift car. Obviously, it’s going to need to be rear wheel drive. Manual transmissions are a plus, along with a good weight distribution and a solid engine platform. While the S chassis and Miata DO fulfill those categories (for the most part), they miss out on the last one. Price.

Most exotic car makers started off with an incredibly rich artist or engineer, throwing in tonnes of money to make some awesome cars. Ferrari for instance, was carrefully brought up by a man called Enzo. Who had a passion, for what he did. And arguably, Ferrari’s beginnings were a bit predictable. Lamborghini on the other hand, was brought up….slightly differently. Whereas Enzo was the smart A-grade student. Mr Ferruccio Lamborghini, was more of the kid, who loved to start a scrap. (But had serious knowlege)

I found this glitch completely on my own when I was trying to make a realistic 1 gear racing Prius. 1 buy a Prius 2 build up the stock engine as much as possible. 3 set up the gears exactly how I have them on the pic above. 4 set up a mile drag race on extreme ( manual with clutch) 5 Drive to the start line and then shift into second (don’t worry about heating your tires it won’t make a difference)

Thirteen days after selling its first car, the Winton Motor Carriage Company became an international marque, selling a car to John Moodie of Hamilton, Ontario. The international sale was a testament to Alexander Winton’s pioneering enthusiasm for car advertising. The Scotch-born Winton had undertaken the industry’s first “publicity stunt” a year earlier when he and one of his mechanics had driven a 2-cylinder Winton Motor Carriage 800 miles from Cleveland, Ohio to New York City.

The South Korean automobile industry has gone from strength to strength over the last forty years, and is now the fifth largest in the world. The cars are just as good, if not better, than anything offered by European, American or Japanese manufacturers, and are very reliable. And that’s fine. But they’ve never been the go-to for enthusiasts. Yes, Hyundai has the Genesis and Veloster, and Kia has the Pro_C’eed GT, but that’s sort of it, right? Wrong.

Hey guys! I’d like to know what these lights mean, I got a feeling its due to wet roads and it comes on when I skid the tyres. To prove my theory that it’s traction control and warning that it’s slippery surface, I purposely accelerated quickly while turning then I heard warning beeping sounds and then hand brake light came on blinking. Then the ABS light and the other light came one.

Let me start this with a dream I had. In the dream I owned 3 1950’s Chevys. They were all matte black, but in the dream, I noted that one was a daily, one was a dragcar, and one was a drift car. So my question is why don’t we see modified 1950s-60s cars as drift cars? We know its possible (see: Hoonicorn). But i want to see a true 1950’s drift missle. And why not? I personally think it would look awesome! Hoonicorn. I found this pic after a quick browse on google images.

The company had previously experimented with large-section, thin-walled tires with small bead diameters for special purposes, but none had been put on the commercial market. Firestone had become the largest producer of tires when it received the contract to supply Henry Ford’s Model T’s with tires. The company remained on top of the tire industry, challenged for supremacy only by Goodyear. Balloon tires provided better handling and a smoother ride for car drivers. In balloon tires an inner tube is fitted inside the tire and inflated.
