A good old fashioned list post - haven't done one of these in ages! As someone who would prefer an 8-track player over Bluetooth, I - alongside many of you, I’m sure - am absolutely fascinated by motoring history; the sort with black and white photos and footage of people walking quickly.

Some of these you will recognise. I got bored and decided to post these for your entertainment - full playlists of like 400 tunes can be found on YouTube, so I'd recommend that for more! So, there’s a small set of tunes I wanted to share with you lot. If you know any other old TG tunes, then get in the comments as I can’t find some myself. Cheers!

No matter how much you may love your life at the moment, there’s no denial that whenever you’re with your old mates crowded around a BBQ or a corner table at McDonalds, you will always smile deeply in the thought of old memories. These were moments in which you laugh over and realise just how much you miss the past.

Remember years ago when the Top Gear hosts were talking about the Ferrari 458 for the first time? More specifically, when Jeremy said that it would be fantastic to drive? He made this claim because at the time, Ferrari were performing woefully in Formula One, and has always maintained that whenever F1 teams are doing badly in the sport, their road cars are drop-dead fabulous. Yet when they’re performing fantastically in F1, their road cars are at rock bottom. This got me and my ever-complicated brain thinking: how far is he actually correct?

I don’t really have much use for it anymore, sadly. I’ve kept the stock engine and tuned it to 300bhp. Racing slicks and necessary upgrades have been made. EPIC track weapon capable of challenging modern sports cars! I promise this thing handles brilliantly and can also drift if you want it to. Other pics in comments - go check it out in the auction house, it’ll be there unless it’s been sold! P.s, the California plate won’t be there because it can’t be included in sale…

I'll be honest at this point, I was guilty of a few of these in the past, and I'm sure you were/are as well. But we're all in this together and we can improve! Anyone else watching the World Cup? I certainly am - simply because England is through to the semi finals! Go on, lads! Heck, I’m not even a football fan. I have no idea who any of the players are and I am alienated to the domestic teams and the premier league nonsense… what I do understand though, is that the culture surrounding the sport is huge and fans are undeniably passionate.

I feel weird. Two years of college and A-Level education has finally come to an end, and (touch wood) I should be in university by this September! It’s been a complete see-saw period of time for me, at first I loved it: the people I met were SO friendly and made me feel special, the teachers were almost like family members and I was made to feel welcome whatever I said, did or wrote.

I’ve really been quite depressed at just how much hate Maserati is receiving these days. It makes me sad reading and listening to what the younger generation really think of one of the greatest names in automotive history. I don’t want to be judgemental, but I’ve got a feeling that most Maserati haters don’t even have knowledge about the brand’s history and past models. I can certainly tell that if behind the screen, there is some 12 year old arguing that Mercedes’ interiors are better. Those types of people tick me off. ANYWAY! Time for my reasoning-

In my previous post, I showed you that an original 1938 Mercedes 770K owned by Adolf Hitler is up for grabs at a Scottsdale auction later this month.

Estimated to sell for many millions... You may have seen that a rather special version of the Toyota Supra is up for grabs next month at a Japanese auction. It’s Smokey Nagata’s, the madman who set the record of 197mph on the A1. With a V12 engine and a rather striking body kit, it’s one of the most interesting cars that’s come up for sale in a while. But I can beat that- with this: a Mercedes Benz owned by the notorious German dictator.

(I wrote this on the Revving It Daily site a few weeks back, I've been stressed with college work since then. So better late than never, here's my latest article :) I was lucky enough to complete a pilgrimage this year, but not a religious one like Mecca. I was in Italy during the Summer, and aside the blissful mountains, countryside and little villages, I had ended up in a rough industrial town away from all the picturesque glory.

To be honest, I really miss the days when car advertising was self-contained and didn’t poke much fun out of anything. I mean, does anyone remember the MK2 Golf ad from the mid ‘80s? The beautifully shot; ‘This is the man’ one. That sort of magic is being lost these days, especially in Britain. And I believe that one of the very worst offenders is for the new 2017 Vauxhall Corsa. Why? Well it’s simply going to trigger people like me and you: Petrolheads.

When it comes to fast cars, nothing can get quite as simple and laid back as an old muscle car. Europeans in the 1960s were experimenting with double overhead camshafts and Weber choked carburetors. Whereas with American muscle cars, it was either go big, or go home. Engines were big, simply made, and produced some very serious amounts of horsepower! And don’t think that they raced at expensive, prestigious circuits. 1/4 of a mile between a set of lights is what really mattered.

Finally, after 3 long and agonizing months I had just finished my last exam, when I got back home again I was chilling out to the sound of zero stress and ‘I’m Free’ by The Who, I had torn out my revision mind maps and burnt every school book to a refreshing and delightful crisp! Lovely.

Hot hatches these days are getting to their absolute peak, with innovative design, radical engineering and styling to stand out from the norm. However, I think there’s some problems with these new trends, please allow me to explain-
