Before starting I want to point out that this is a growing article, and I’ll probably need your help to get it all done. So everything you could add to this article (or that needs correction), just tell me.

Help, I need a bigger car! As some may know I used to drive slightly tuned Corolla hatchbacks with little to no flaw in the paintwork before I had kids (Like the ones in the picture below). They were made to look more sporty, without going all out in the rice department. It was a blast. These little cars were easy to park, drove fast enough if you pushed them and best of all … they turned heads, because people were not used to seeing a TTE-spec Corolla.

Hi Guys, here I am again. And yes I’m going to talk about the E11 euro-spec Corolla AGAIN. (Don’t judge me, it’s the only car I know a ridiculous amount of things about) This time I’m going to introduce you to the limited edition Corollas. 1. Corolla G6R The year is 1998. Carlos Sainz is driving the Corolla WRC in the WRC championship and it looks like he has a shot to win it. Ultimatly he didn’t, but it was close. Toyota decides that this near win has to be celebrated with a special edition of the E11. They made The G6R.

Good day CTzens, After a small conversation with MIKEL, we decided it was my turn to do this. Why you ask? Well MIKEL is rather new in the E11 scene, and I am not. In this post we will go all through the eight gen Corolla and it’s OEM enhancements. This is however the E11 euro-spec. (The one that looks like the WRC-car). This car is a bit tricky to do because it has a pre-facelift (PFL) and a facelift (FL) version. THe pic below shows the PFL on the left and the FL on the right.

Because of the baby and other possible kids in the future I wanted something bigger. Because of my love for the 99 bug eye corolla, the choice was made quickly. Technically it runs like a charm, on the outside, it needs a bit of love. What I have done allready:

The G6R is a limited edition e11. Toyota made it after Carlos Sainz didn’t win the WRC by a hair in ‘98. It’s basicly a pimped G6. Differences are: hard and low suspension sideskirts aluminum bonnet stronger axles bigger rims (not the ones I have) disc brakes all around red seatbelts

I’ve been lucky enough to find a G6R here in Belgium. It has some attentionpoints here en there, but nothing we can’t fix. This car is so nice because a. it is a limited edition and b. because it comes with lowered sportive springs, sideskirts and weight reduction as a standard. I only recently bought it, so still lots to be done. This will become my main project car. The idea is to only use genuine toyota/tte/trd parts. What I have done allready:
