After having been warmed up, my oil pressure gauge will usually read between 2 or 3 kg/cm2 while idling (& just below 4 while driving). However, very occasionally (only happened 4 times the past 2 weeks) I’ve seen my gauge drop as low as around 1 kg/cm2 at idle which is pretty worrying to me. Luckily I’ve been close to home each time it has happened. But next day I start it & drive awhile, it returns back to 2 or 3 at idle like nothing changed. This weekend, I plan to cut open my oil filter to check for possible bearing deterioration.
