VW Passat Warning Lights (please read description)
Hey guys! I’d like to know what these lights mean, I got a feeling its due to wet roads and it comes on when I skid the tyres.
To prove my theory that it’s traction control and warning that it’s slippery surface, I purposely accelerated quickly while turning then I heard warning beeping sounds and then hand brake light came on blinking. Then the ABS light and the other light came one.
Could it be that it’s due to wet surfaces? I just bought the car and it has been raining heaps, so no leaks inside 😂 Im due to drive it on a dry sunny day 👍😊 any help is appreciated! Thanks ✌

The abs light and stability control lights. If they are on whilst you are stationary it’s nothing to do with the weather. Plug t into an obd2 and it’ll tell you.
They only came one when i started driving! Rainy day! But, this morning was finally a sunny day and dry roads. No warning lights :)

UPDATE: no warning lights this sunny morning 👍👍 dry roads!
If the car has a stability control system it is possible to see these lights intermittently. Could be a speed sensor or wiring issue. Speed sensors use a tone ring mounted on the axle and sometimes the ring breaks. Recommend have a shop take a look. As mentioned if you have a diagnostic scanner you may be able to see a fault code. What’s your owners manual say?
The red one is brake warning light comes on when parking brake is pulled or low on brake fluid. yellow circle is traction control it should flash when wheels are spinning. When Abs is lit up it means something is wrong and you will not have abs but your brakes should still work other then that
Did they all turn on at the same time? And what were you foing when they turned on
Yeah they all come one when i accelarate too quickly. I hear three beeps
Its a vw so thats to be expected ( for the most part this isnt a joke since their lights come on all the time for no reason other than because they wa t to be noticed)
