Formula 1 has seen a colossal rise on aerodynamic complexity in the last 15 years. if you compare, say a car from 2002 and 2016, the latter will have so much more complexity in its design, thanks to advancement in computer simulations, which allow such small and precise adjustments to be done. So here are seven examples of these engineering wonders. 1. Sidepod vortex generators

In ye ole’ days, engineers used to rely solely on experience, and later on wind tunnels to develop the aerodynamic treats of their creations, most of the time doing a complicated process, which was expensive and time-consuming. As the information age came, ingenious people wondered if all of that processing power could be used to simulate what was going on in a wide range of situations. In the earliest days of computing, fluid dynamics stepped in and revolutionized the world of aerodynamic projects. So here are five reasons why this has happened.

Hello Car Throttle World! I am thrilled to be somwhere on the internet where people love and understand cars! As a Brazilian guy (hue BR?) I am going to give you some insight on the Brazilian car culture . I study mechanical engineering an am fulfilling my dream of building cars with a Formula SAE student! Also, I will give some technical insight for some different stuff I find out there! Also, I have a youtube channel with content in Portuguese, but I can do it in English, German (No flawless language guaranteed) or Spanish if you will! :)
