Not much to do at night, so I photoshoped the Kia Stinger and made it a 3-door sexy coupe. My performance upgrades would be these: Specs: a. Hyundai-Kia Tau GDI 5.0 V8 - 420HP b. 0-60 in 3.1 sec c. Titanium exhaust system d. Carbon Fibre hood and rear trunk. e. Aluminium suspension items to save weight. f. 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission/ Manual transmission as optional

No, I’m not talking about the Mitsubishi FTO, Toyota Sera or any other japanese sports cars that many people claim are “forgotten” from the 90’s performance coupe craze. This time this blog is about a true underated car, specially from the era where japense dominated the market. I’m talking about the Hyundai Scoupe and yes I know that many people don’t even know about the existence of this car probably because at that time Hyundai wasn’t as relevant as it is today and to be honest the Scoupe wasn’t a real threat to the japanese sports cars. Still this is a very interesting car.

As much as I love this car I can’t stop thinking that it will be very rare to see one at the streets, but that’s not all that bad news and here is why.

Like it or not Crossovers are more popular than ever, in fact SUV is the fastest growing car segment right now. So no surprise every major car manufacturer wants to get a piece of it. Now here is where I want to make my point, since SUVs are so popular car makers invest more money on these than they do in other segments and what we get is a market crowd of boring crossovers.
