I think it depends on weight but the hot hatch era has sort set a bench mark of 180/200 bhp and above to be considered powerful in a normal 3 door or 5 door road car…. 205 GTi, Gold GTi and Civic Type R etc

it depends on the car, it’s weight etc. but for me, 300 BHP and over is powerful

As a tall person who drives sedans but loves quick/fast cars, I’m leaning towards 300-350. That’ll push a 3500 pound car from 0-60 is about 6 seconds
1000hp makes every car powerful

in my mini? 85-100hp will make a very fast mini. :)
Anything with more than 100/100 horsepower/lb ft and less than 15 lbs/hp I’d consider fairly powerful as far as driving experience.
