So I work in an auto shop and in the body department. We get an old woman, who was extremely racist at our black receptionist, asked that only a white person work on her Buick (shocker). She complained that the heater doesn’t work but one look at it shows
Why it wasn’t. It worked actually quite well. Then why didn’t we just tell her it did? There was a crack in the wind shield about the size of a quarter from top to bottom and a small dusting of snow in her interior. She was nearly blind but because she
Winter stories? we’re not even done yet boys, hold your horses!
It rained a few times.
I had a couple of good ones… First was the christmas drifting pulling a christmas tree around the streets. Then that one time I floored it at a stop, went completely sideways passed a cops (oups). But the best one was the winter hoonigan run when we had a massive snow storm in Quebec, highway ramps sideways, long sweeps curves at 80km/h completely sideways and donuts at intersections!
Was taking the public bus home with about 40 other students when the bus jacknifed and we had to push it out of the ditch
Me and my friend went out sliding in my ‘89 Kadett E GT. It was a nice curvy road with ice on bottom and snow on top. I flicked the car from left to right up the hill for a couple of minutes while driving with around 40km/h. On my way down I made the mistake to flick it again. This is the time to note that the car doesn’t have winter tires, just old summer in the back and newer in the front (#broke). So I flicked it and managed to hold it for a couple of weight transfers, but than kt caught on tracks left by other cars and it headed straight to the all iced up snow bank on my right. I braced for impact and hoped it will not be that bad (still not going faster than 40). The car hit the bank and my friend got out to check the damage. He looked at the passenger side and signaled it was okay. On my side, however I could see by the expression on his face that I have f..ked up. I got out and saw that the bumper was on the ground on my side, and there was a huge chunk of ice underneight the passenger side control arm that was so severly stuck that lifted the tire off the ground. So here we are, car sitting in the middle of the road in brought daylight while Im trying to kick the bumper back in place and my buddy beating the chunk with the tire wrench so we can leave before anyone crashes into us. Moral of the story : always use winter tires. :D
