no too many. But one that sure scared me to death for 0,5secs and had me nervous the rest of the day. I drove over a pretty big, still frozen 2 way road patch covered on ice, in a wide turn, about 80kmh (which I usually drive through at 100-110kmh) . Exterior temp was 7º so I wasnt too worried, but still was careful. So I 4 wheel slided, invading completely the other lane in less than a sec. Fortunately, no cars where coming and I grabbed dry tarmac again and could recover control. But that moment I was completely terrified, because I would have crashed sideways against a pretty solid wall. I tried to counter just out of instinct, even tho I knew that moment there was nothing I could do with my fancy, but unstudded snow tires.
Tried to brake, ended up in the rear of the car in front. Tried to drift, ended up on the sidewalk. Tried to turn, ended up on a pile of snow. This has been a good winter xD
So I deliver parts for a car dealership in new york after a slight snow storm I’m pulling into one of the several dealerships my employer owns, our parts vehicle is a 2WD toyota Tacoma pre runner, long story short I pull into the dealership parking lot and completely by accident pull a fantastic drift around the corner that leads into the lot, I look around hoping no one notices and who do I see? The dealership general manager with a not too amused look on his face, I get out of the truck terrified walking towards the parts dept entrance I’m certain I’m about to get a new hole torn in me, he cracks a smile and says “that…. was one hell of a save my man”
It was cold for a few weeks and I couldn’t drive with my windows down and enjoy the sunshine.
