The guys over at The Fast Lane Car are taking a look at a bunch of cars many think are American, but are actually produced outside of the United States
Growing up on a diet of World Rally Championship highlights and lengthy Gran Turismo 2 sessions, a life in cars was as good as inevitable for Matt.

Fun Fact: The 5th Gen Camaro was developed here in Australia because it shared the Zeta platform used by the Holden Commodore VE, and this project was worked on by my dad’s cousin :D
Chevrolet SS is based on Holden Commodore VFII, the last Aussie made Holden
RIP COMMODORE, LAST AUSSIE MADE HOLDEN 1978-2017
How is the Ford Fiesta not built in Britain??
Because its built in Cologne
This list sucked tbh, nothing new and it had some pretty obvious ones on it. All I learned from this video is that those guys need to do some more research before making content.
So Mexico and Canada are not America, right…..
Correct?
Not right, they are both in America, North America.
Can anyone please reply me the car list? I’m on low data :’(
The Challenger is still American
How?
North American yeah, but not US.
Ram Master is Peugeot Boxer / Citroen Jumper and Buick Cascada is originally Opel Cascada.
In my mind, where they are manufactured is a nonissue. To me, it depends on where it was designed and created. Of course, there are those that are neither designed or manufactured in the US so those wouldn’t qualify as American.
Hmmmm… Charger/Challenger were a bit of a surprise. Knew they weren’t built in Mexico but didn’t know we built them in CANADA :D
