#3Reasons Time To Show Some Love To Forza...
If you’re anything like me after a hard time at work or college I like to switch on my XBOX and put in Forza and slay some tires. Recently Forza and Turn 10 have really smashed it out of the park with Horizon 3 however, I still feel as though Forza needs to up its game.
If you’re anything like me after a hard time at work or college I like to switch on my XBOX and put in Forza and slay some tires. Recently Forza and Turn 10 have really smashed it out of the park with Horizon 3 however, I still feel as though Forza needs to up its game. Now the next scheduled Forza game should be Forza Motorsport 7 and will possibly be available around 2018 or later. My incompleteness with the Forza series has led me to write this post about some changes and additions that need to be made.
Horizon... Is Dead...
If you cast your minds back to September, you’ll remember that Forza Horizon 3 was announced and the hype for the game was unreal, with the game being set in Australia one of the most beautiful places on earth, with more customisation than ever, more cars than ever, and more exploration than ever, it seemed like the perfect game for car guys and girls. However, a month after the release of Horizon, the hype died and people are a bit bored of the game, I full well know that I am getting sick and tired of Kiera constantly telling me what to do I get that she’s probably a very nice lady, but she does have a mouth on her. Perhaps a more story driven game is what’s next, I know that I would enjoy a story based Forza game far more than Horizon 3.
Moar Motorsport
Motorsport Is in the title of the game correct? Well then why the hell can I only drive on a track! There are so many forms of motorsport that the game doesn’t include into the main campaign of the game. For example Drifting and Drag racing have been seen as forms of motorsport for years now, so why are they only available in online game modes. Similarly, rallying and rallycross, now I know what some of you will say, which is ‘Thats what Horizon is for!’ But I don’t want to roam around some Aussie’s field I want to be charging up Pikes Peak or tearing up some dirt tracks in Wales. With the addition of buggy’s into Horizon 3 I should damn well hope that some of this maybe possible. A glimmer of hope was shown when NASCAR’s were brought into the game even then it took an age for Forza to listen.
Stop Being Sneaky Ba*tards With The DLC Content
Now, I like my Forza games to be fully loaded with the VIP and Car Packs etc… But there are some people out there that can’t afford a new DLC pack every month, Forza used to give those loyal players a free car in the DLC but they seemed to have stopped that which is rude of them, as I feel as though its telling those loyal players to f*ck right off. Similarly, with the whole VIP situation I don’t get why VIP payers don’t get anything more than a few extra cars, I expect to have some more future DLC’s free as I’m paying nearly £17,00 extra for the game. Furthermore, Turn 10 and Forza are driving loyal customers away by doing this, it’s nearly the same situation as the FIFA series, as people aren’t allowed to buy FIFA coins anymore meaning that they can only earn in game money which is next to nothing, compared with the price of player packs. So Forza if you’re reading this (Which you’re probably not) use those things on the side of your head more often, they are called ears and they are amazing parts of the body.
Thats all from me! What are your thoughts on Forza? Is the game dead or better than ever? What are your suggestions for the next Forza game? Am I stupid? Have a great day!
Thanks for reading!

Those are actually really good points and it was only three!
Well, for me horizon always have been fun online, the place to do shenanigans in cars with other people and crack yourself laughing…(horizon 2 i haven’t played much), i’ve just played the carrer to get money and build the cars, and nothing else.
And for motorsport variety, if i’m not wrong, the only game that featured track racing, rally/snow (wrc like-ish), and pikes peaks was Gran Turismo (GT 2 and 4 have a special place in the shelf) nowadays it’s easy to find a game focused in just one type of race, Dirt Rally is there to proof, the game is insane.
I still haven’t played Horizon 3 yet, but, it looks pretty fun and interesting in multiplayer mode
And the dream of a game, that gives us the level of customization that petrolheads dream of, the list of cars that will make everyone smile from ear to ear and, features all the sick series of racing… still lives, we’re just waiting to be created, until there, we have to satisfy our hoonning urges with the recent games…
They definetley should get rid of that DLC insanity. I wouldn’t be mad about 2 or 3 bigger expansions like Storm Island for FH2 or the upcoming Snow Mountain for FH3 getting made for every game that you have to pay for since they really give you something new, but the car expansions shouldn’t cost anything.
100% agree with you man.
