6 Things That Could Be Powered By A Tesla P100D
Tesla is set to release its most powerful Model S yet, the P100D. Featuring a 110kWh battery pack, the latest super saloon from the electrical pioneers can achieve 0-62mph in just 2.5 seconds, putting most supercars to shame. In terms of instantaneous power, the P100D produces around 568kW (762bhp), with the 110kWh figure only based around energy usage over time.
Electric power figures often don’t mean much to the lesser-spotted petrolhead, so to put the Tesla’s stats into perspective, here’s a run-down of equivalents that show the enormity of Elon Musk’s 110kWh achievement.
43 G-Wizs
One of Clarkson’s most hated automobiles of all time, the G-Wiz featured a battery pack that produced a feeble 13.1kW. Although it may have paved the way for such things as the Renault Twizzy, the electric car game has moved on quite a bit since production of this monstrosity began in 2001.

Aston Martin One-77
The battery back from the Tesla produces a near-identical power figure to the One-77’s V12!
568,000 Samsung Galaxy Note 7s
No auxiliary port doesn’t seem that big a deal now, huh.
