Adidas Isn't Happy About Tesla's Old Model 3 Logo
Take a look at the Model 3 logo above. Remind you of anything? According to Adidas, it’s a little too reminiscent of its own ‘three bar’ motif that appears on its logo and is used extensively on the clothing it produces.
Engadget reports that Adidas filed a legal challenge over the Model 3 logo as it is “likely to cause confusion”. Adidas justified its position due to Tesla’s plans to put the logo on various pieces of merchandise including clothing.
The dispute gets particularly interesting when you find out that Tesla already dropped the three bar logo a few weeks ago, switching to a numeric ‘3’. Sure enough, a quick peruse of Tesla’s own website shows the change has taken effect.
Speaking to Engadget, Tesla insisted dropping its application for the three bar logo was an internal branding decision, rather than anything to do with Adidas’ complaint.

Go home Adidas, you are drunk. The last thing I think is in Adidas when I see that logo. Reminds me more a triplane or a ford front grill
Glad they did it, I hate it when I buy a model 3 instead of sneakers
When you want to save the economy but you want the brand with three stripes
Sorry theres no longer a car for that
That awkward moment when you drive your Adidas and wear your Tesla.
