This 'Brand New Mustang' Isn't Really A Mustang, But We Want It Like Mad
Take a look at the image below. It’s a first-gen Ford Mustang, right? Well, yes and no. It’s actually the work of a US company called Revology, which creates replica Mustangs using brand new steel bodies produced under license. And while it looks just like a classic ‘Stang, the bits under the skin are much more modern, making it much more usable day-to-day. It’s chock full of up-to-date touches like keyless entry, electric seats, electric windows and Bluetooth connectivity.
The modernisation isn’t limited to just interior trinkets, either. It’s rocking modern MacPherson strut front suspension and a three-link rear setup, plus disc brakes. It’s powered by a modestly-powered but still pokey 261bhp 5.0-litre, fuel-injected V8.
Want one? It’ll set you back $119,500 (£81,000). Not what you’d call cheap, but considering the work that goes into these things, that’s not bad value at all.
