A driver in Montana turned the simple act of exiting a car wash into a disastrous crash. The thing is, we can’t work out how they managed it - was it pedal confusion, did they genuinely think they could make the turn using that amount of steering lock, or something else?

As a carwash employee I have to say almost all accidents happen because customers did something we did not expect, or just failed completely.
Like driving into the carwash too fast, or braking while in it.
Or going in with a broken sidemirror or a damaged bumper.
