The Crew 2 Gets Release Date, Action-Packed New Gameplay Trailer
We got our first proper glimpse of The Crew 2 at E3 earlier this year, with a new cinematic trailer and initial details on the up-coming sequel to the 2014 racing title.
Since then, fans have been eager to find out more, but Ubisoft hasn’t shared much information on the game. That’s changed though with the reveal of The Crew 2’s release date.
It’ll be released worldwide on the 16 March 2018 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, and – of course – brings vehicles for the water, roads and sky to the open-world USA map.
A new, super-dramatic gameplay trailer also hit the web for this year’s Gamesom, showing off the vast array of vehicle types and the impressive, expanded map.
The trailer also unveiled the game’s ‘Fast Fav’ feature, which will allow players to seamlessly switch between their favourite ground, water and air vehicles in just a few seconds.
They also revealed that as you find more boats, planes, bikes and cars to collect, there’ll be a range of challenges and competitions along the way that put them to good use.
We’ve also found out details of the pre-orders, with the standard game coming with The Legendary Motors Pack – featuring the Mercedes-AMG C 63 Touring Car 2016 and Harley-Davidson Iron 883 2017.
The pre-ordered Deluxe Edition is a bit more money and gets The Legendary Motors Pack, plus the Motorsports Deluxe Pack, which comes with:
- Ford F-150 Raptor Race Truck 2017
- Abarth 500 2008 Monster Truck Edition
- Pilatus PC-21 Aerobatics Plane
- Three unique racing outfits to customize your player avatar
Pre-ordering the Gold Edition gives players the chance to play the game three days early, on the 13 March, and has both of the above packs, plus the Season Pass. More information is here.

Will this one be a grindy, microtransaction filled mess like the first one? If so, count me out.
Am i the only one who wont even bother with the water and air part?
