The Different Police Cars From 26 Countries Around The World

Of course, I didn’t travel to 26 states and then did donuts in the streets so that I could figure out what their police cars looked like. All these images are according to Google, and I always picked the car / livery that seemed to be the most common. Sure, they may look different where you live - so feel free to post a picture in the comments.

This topic is actually rather interesting - the different cars which the states rely on, the different liveries, the different signal lights, and - probably the most interesting of them all - the different spellings of the word “Police”. To spice things up even more though, I’ve mixed in one or two “just for fun” examples…

Does the U.A.E. not make the list? Granted some of their cars are worth more than an entire fleet because LAMBO POLICE CAR!

In Bulgaria you mainly see the Astra as a police vehicle

As someone who lives in Brazil, you got it right, Renault Sandero, is problably one of the most use police car.

That Sandero belongs to the state of Rio de Janeiro. Here in the state of São Paulo the police seems to love this little poverty-spec wagon, the Fiat Weekend (previously Fiat Palio Weekend), which, other than cosmetic differences, is much the same one which we exported to Europe some 20 years ago.
