Police cars - the natural enemies of car guys around the world. You’ve all seen them - but do you know what they look like in other countries? Probably not, but don’t worry, you’re going to find out in a minute.

The Different Police Cars From 26 Countries Around The World

Police cars - the natural enemies of car guys around the world. You’ve all seen them - but do you know what they look like in other countries? Probably not, but don’t worry, you’re going to find out in a minute.

Of course, I didn’t travel to 26 states and then did donuts in the streets so that I could figure out what their police cars looked like. All these images are according to Google, and I always picked the car / livery that seemed to be the most common. Sure, they may look different where you live - so feel free to post a picture in the comments.

This topic is actually rather interesting - the different cars which the states rely on, the different liveries, the different signal lights, and - probably the most interesting of them all - the different spellings of the word “Police”. To spice things up even more though, I’ve mixed in one or two “just for fun” examples…

That Sandero belongs to the state of Rio de Janeiro. Here in the state of São Paulo the police seems to love this little poverty-spec wagon, the Fiat Weekend (previously Fiat Palio Weekend), which, other than cosmetic differences, is much the same one which we exported to Europe some 20 years ago.
