dem feels but.. ls swapping an rx7? why??
The feeltrain hit me dead on.
But to all the LS whiners. That LS most likely weighs half of what the original Rotary engine weighs , plus uusing it for low(ish) cost drifting its a great reliable powerplant.
I know this is late but are you for real?? Dry weight of an LS1 208kgs. Dry weight of a 13b 112kgs. so the 13b is nearly half the weight of an LS1 not the other way around!
Respect for the makers of this film and thought go out to the chap that passed.
Think of it this way: one more rotary engine available in the market for sale ;)
right in the feels…
If only I had friends like these! Respect to them.
As a fellow enthusiast putting a 5.0 into his 1987 RX7 GXL I love this, the idea of my friends doing this for me is truly eye watering. LS swap haters are always gonna hate but this should should’ve been the one time they kept their fingers tucked away and off the keyboard. The dude had a RX7 GXL, N/A 13Bs are just not worth it if you want to do something fun with your car. You have much more potential with a v8 , especially an LS1, and you also have all the infrastructure behind those motors.
oh my gosh that sound
