Here’s The 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Getting All Shouty At The Nurburgring
Several examples of the the sixth-generation Camaro's ZL1 variant have been spotted undergoing testing at the Nordschleife, making lots of brilliant noises in the process
Revealed earlier this year, the latest ZL1 puts out a monstrous 631bhp and 640lb ft of torque, up from the previous car’s 572bhp and 556lb ft. It’s 90kg lighter too, so we can expect the old car’s 3.8sec 0-60mph time to be shaved down considerably.
Meanwhile, a disguised prototype of the ZL1’s Z/28 brother was recently spotted at the Nurburgring. Unfortunately though, its test schedule wasn’t without incident…

I saw a camo’ed one of these on the highway in Lansing, MI. It sounded so glorious!
Thanks anyway!
How will it be legal in europe with all the new noice laws? I don’t know about the rest of Europe but in switzerland cars registered after july 2016 are not allowed to be louder than 75 db. :/
