Here's The Aftermath Of A Sickening Megane RS Crash At The 'Ring
This horrifying wreck at the Nurburgring left both the driver and passenger in hospital
This massive wreck happened on Thursday at the Kurvenpassage section of the Nordschleife. Speaking to Car Throttle, eyewitness and CT friend Steve Warson who was two cars behind the Renaultsport Megane told us that the crash was an overreaction from the driver after spotting an animal on the track.
He backed off, causing lift-off oversteer followed by a spin and a roll. The driver needed an operation on an injured hand, while the passenger suffered a concussion.
Not a bad outcome considering the severity of the crash, but a lot of that is down to safety gear. “The car had six-point harnesses, bucket seats and a cage. Without these things the outcome would have been very different,” Steve told us.

Normal people: I hope the driver was okay
Carguys: I hope the driver was okay……………..how much for the wheels?
If you can find the other two xD
What if the animal was a fox?
Megane + Fox = Megan Fox
Megan Fox was at the Nürburgring, illuminati confirmed!
OH MY GOSH IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW
I don’t know about you guys but I’d rather be in this than an older, faster car. Sure the older car’s faster but ehhhh, I’d rather live and drive a slower car then be involved in a serious accident.
That’s why rollcages, bucket seats and 6-point harnesses exist. As stated in the article. Even in an older car a crash like this is survivable if it is fitted with the right safety equipment.
We all know what animal was on the track….
Pictures are the Formula for 1 good joke. (I’ll stop now.)
Sickening
Modern cars are so strong. The cabins quite intact
car had a roll cage
Ahh.. might need to invest
I just had to
Is here any BMW driver? Perhaps he needs those blinkers. They still work!

Passenger in the car was VLN race driver and CarThrottle user TheNuerburgringGuy . He is ok, but has to stay in the hospital and is not allowed to race in the VLN race tomorrow.
I hope he gets well soon, we should leave some mesages on his last post dont you think?
