Liberty Walk Has Built A Honda S660 Widebody Kit And We're Not Sure How To Feel
Like the idea of something like a widebody Lamborghini Aventador but don’t quite have the cash? Let me present a solution.
It’s called the LB Works SSX-660R, and it’s a Liberty Walk widebody kit for something a little more affordable: the Honda S660R. That’s right, you can now turn the 63bhp Kei car into your own bite-sized, widebody mini-monster.
It’s quite possibly the most preposterous thing Liberty Walk has ever come up with, and we’re not sure if we’re horrified or impressed. A little of both, perhaps.
Despite the 660cc coupe being quite a humble starting point, Liberty Walk hasn’t held back here. We’re talking huge wheel arch bulges with deliberately conspicuous rivets, a ducktail rear spoiler and a diffuser all working together to whip up a weird-tasting feast for the eyes.
If you live in Japan (the S660 isn’t sold elsewhere) and like the idea of all this, you’re looking at 648,000 yen (£4420) for the complete SSX-660R kit, and almost the same again for an air suspension setup to go along with it. Meanwhile the slightly less mad SSX-660 kit is 475,200 yen (£3240).
So, understanding that we may be opening a huge can of worms here, what do you think of this thing? Let the discussion commence…

Sweet little car. I’d have one, if I could
SO CUTE! I love it.
I like it looks like a minified NSX
Rice rice baby
This is the coolest thing ever
I like it but would have an issue with spending more on a body kit and air suspension than the car is worth. Might as well just walk outside and throw cash in the middle of the street.
Looks like hot wheels threw up on a perfectly good car…
looks like an aborted transformer
