This Nissan Micra Cup Race Very Quickly Descended Into Carnage
Last weekend's Micra Cup race at Calabogie in Canada had a chaotic start, with much of the field caught up in a massive pile-up
Fortunately, no serious injuries were caused by this massive pile-up. The fact that these pint-sized racers - built by Nissan itself - come with FIA-approved racing seats, five-point harnesses and full roll cages was no doubt a big factor in keeping all the competitors safe.
The accident was caused by an incident at the front of the pack, which caused a chain reaction leading to the massive smash you see here.
