This Nissan Micra Cup Race Very Quickly Descended Into Carnage
Last weekend's Micra Cup race at Calabogie in Canada had a chaotic start, with much of the field caught up in a massive pile-up
Fortunately, no serious injuries were caused by this massive pile-up. The fact that these pint-sized racers - built by Nissan itself - come with FIA-approved racing seats, five-point harnesses and full roll cages was no doubt a big factor in keeping all the competitors safe.
The accident was caused by an incident at the front of the pack, which caused a chain reaction leading to the massive smash you see here.

I never thought I’d read those three words in that order…ever! Nissan…Micra….Race
Someone must add the sorry edit, since they are Canadians (huehuehue).
Judging by the second video there was a mustang race next. That would have been much worse.
And think of all those Nissan Micras that were destroyed. Hurrah! Less ugly granny cars!
I wonder if they will do a series with Ford kas next? That would be good.
Remind you of something?
Can’t touch this!
He did a very good job at avoiding I must say.
Looks like somebody wanted to recreate the first race from the cars movie😂
