Now's Your Chance To Buy A Box-Fresh Mk1 Mazda MX-5 With 300 Genuine Miles
If you click on this eBay link right now, you’ll find a 1990 Mk1 Mazda MX-5 with a starting bid of $13,000. That’s damn expensive for car like this, and the reason for the inflated price is simple: it’s box-fresh with only 300 miles on the clock, which means that this dry-stored MX-5 could be the cleanest example in the world…
According to the seller, it’s a one-owner car, has never seen the rain, and apparently, has never had its hood up. Now I’m not sure that this last bit is a true selling point, but just imagine the feeling you’ll get when you know that you’d be the first one to pop the MX-5’s roof cherry.
I’ll be watching this auction (ending Monday) with interest. How much do you think it’ll go for?
Shout out to Jesus Garcia for the tip!

And every rubber gasket on it will need to be replaced.
Wow. I think it will go up to the 25k range.
But the worst thing is thay the roofs never been up! If the roof isn’t stretched when up, the rear window has huge permanent creases in it…
