Now's Your Chance To Buy The Nissan 350Z From F&F Tokyo Drift
Ah, Tokyo Drift. If binning Vin Diesel’s Dominic Toretto for 2 Fast 2 Furious wasn’t enough, this third instalment in the Fast and Furious series upped the ante by having none of the original film’s characters, save for a cheeky cameo at the end from Vin. However, there are things to like about this outcast of franchise. The Nissan 350Z driven by Takashi - aka ‘Drift King - for instance was pretty cool. And now, you can buy that very car.
The catch? It’s not exactly cheap: Cheshire Classic Cars is after a cool £149,995 for the vehicle. That’s significantly more than the £120,000 F&F’s famous orange Supra fetched earlier in the year, but unlike that humble non-turbo Toyota, this Nissan has a little more substance.
It’s been worked over by Veilside, featuring a wide bodykit, an APS twin-turbo setup that boosts the power to 430bhp, plus a Nismo twin-plate clutch and two-way differential. It comes with documentation proving it’s the real deal, and is registered for road use in the UK.
So, assuming you happen to have £150k stuffed away under the sofa cushions, do you fancy being Drift King?
