Okay, so to buy one of these GT8’s you’ll need a handy $303,403! But is it worth it? This car is said to be able to travel from 0-100kph in just 4.5 seconds, making it just 0.2 seconds slower than the DB10, and 0.3 seconds quicker than the DB9. The GT8 runs on a 4.7 litre V8 engine with the top speed equaling that of the DB9 at 306kph! The engine also has a quite a respectable 328kW (440 hp).
With the inspiration coming from the 2016 V8 Vantage GTE race car the only difference is the GT8 is lighter and provides more power. With more good news from the car, buyers will get the choice of a six speed manual or a seven speed II automatic, and with Aston Martin, fancy interiors are not a problem! This allows people to have the choice of a more luxurious ride but still have the power they desire!
Something we find hard to comprehend is how Aston Martin have found the time to produce the DB11, the V12 Vantage S and now the GT8, with them all having the same high standards as you would expect Aston Martin to provide. It’s an incredible engineering feat.
