Remember The Incredible V12 Made From Two Supra Engines? Here's The Latest Update

Back in December the whole office let out a collective ‘gasp’ when we stumbled upon an incredible project on Reddit. The project in question was being undertaken by the poster’s uncle, who had joined together two 2.5-litre 1JZ-GTE Toyota Supra straight-sixes to form a 5.0-litre ‘Frankenstein V12’ for use in a custom tube-framed car.

An update post is now live, along with the images above. Various tasks have been completed, including mating the unit to the transaxle, and the selection of the turbochargers - it’s been decided that two Garrett GTX 3076 blowers will provide the extra poke.
