These Are Your 15 Ugliest Race Cars In Motorsport History
Motorsport is renowned for its beautiful, complicated machinery and technology – but sometimes the chase for speed results in some rather disturbing-looking race cars. Here are some of your suggestions for the ugliest motorsport machines you’ve seen
1. Caterham CT05
Why, Caterham? Why?
2. Ligier JS5
Fortunately this design wasn’t in F1 very long…

It looks sad to be included on this list. Sorry…
4. Cadillac Le Monstre
Aero all the way.
5. Fiat Multipla
WHAT IS THIS? Looks like someone’s turned a Multipla into the most unlikely drift car ever!
6. March 711
That front wing would make a great table.
7. Chaparral 2J
8. Dallara Doran Racing JE4
Prototypes usually look brilliantly futuristic but this is just something else!
9. Eifelland March E21
A central mirror was never a good idea, was it?
10. Bugatti Type 32
11. Panoz Abruzzi
12. Williams FW26
The famous ‘walrus nose’ Williams of 2004.
13. Ferrari F2012
14. Toyota Prius GT
15. Lotus E22
There have been some weird F1 car noses around in recent years…

The Prius Isn’t ugly as well the F1 Ferrari and The Williams
its ugly, but its fast, therefore its cool
Chaparral 2J poster boy of: “If it looks stupid, but it works, it ain’t stupid.”
All cars are beutiful, if not on the outside, then on the inside :D
If it is ugly and it wins it isn’t ugly, nobody gives a f@ck about appearance in motorsports if the thing works and gives and edge above the competition, it isn’t your neighborhood where the cool kids with the cool cars get the chicks, at racing the winner gets a lot more things!
Wheres the one I put down
that williams bmw is good looking imo
same for the dalara and the panoz
Seriously where is mone is right before number three?
WHAT, I find the Ferrari 2012 car beautiful
Aside from the Cadillac and the Chaparral, the others are all ever so awesome. What do you even mean they’re ugly?
