Watch DTM Wheel-To-Wheel Racing Action At Its Finest
DTM is awesome. While the rest of the world tones down its motorsport, the Germans persevere with big saloons bumping and grinding with huge aerodynamic accessories adorning the car. They're big, they're loud and unashamedly brash.
If you've never watched a race from the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters, here's what you've been missing out on. Brit Gary Paffett released this video of his EURONICS Mercedes AMG C-Coupe battling its way through the field on the first lap from the Red Bull Ring Spielberg over the weekend.
Battling is the key word here. First, Paffett is forced wide as two cars collide sending sparks flying, before being bumped out wide again by Robert Wickens. Filipe Albuquerque then seizes the opportunity to get his Audi RS5 alongside and past Paffett, who taps his rear bumper into the next corner.
The camera perched on the side of Paffett's Merc gets you closer to the action than you could ever have imagined. This is saloon racing at its very best.
