Why does he tab the brake pedal while accelerating (3:58 for example)? Can someone explain?

Your both wrong, when you have the vibrations from the road, the brake pads rattle inside the caliber falling out of place a little, a confidence tap ready’s the brake pads inside the caliber so they are ready to grab when he gets on the brake :)
