Witness The Frantic Final Laps Of The 2015 Bathurst 12 Hours Race
The dramatic final few minutes of the Bathurst 12 Hours at Mount Panorama saw Katsumasa Chiyo snatch first place in his Nissan GT-R NISMO
Florian Strauss, Katsumasa Chiyo and Wolfgang Reip took the 2015 Bathurst 12 Hours victory at Mount Panorama. It was Nissan’s first time winning the iconic race since 1992.
Four different manufacturers (Nissan, Audi, Bentley and Aston Martin) battled it out for the race lead over the final two laps, after a late safety car period - the 20th of the event. Chiyo stormed from third to first in the space of 30 seconds on the penultimate lap to take a frantic last-minute victory. Fellow drivers Strauss and Reip are both graduates of the GT Academy.
