Mazda Miata NB vs Lotus elise mk.2, which is best in terms of agility?

I have been in a lotus, and it is insane. The reason being that it was developed as a fully fledged sports car. As the MX-5 is just a roadster I would say the Elise is more agile.

Yes, the miata is a lot cheaper than the elise. The elise is more likely to become a track car for the street, meanwhile the miata is just a lightweight roadster. But, their power are not much different ( 140hp for the NB miata and 134hp for the lighter 1.6l elise ) and they are both known for great handling.

Since i’m happy to say i own a nb-fl miata, and my dad got a mk1, which i’ve driven, it’s a whole lot different. The Elise is much lighter and therefor it feels like it has a lot more torque, but my miata rips it at higher rpms. For just a low light agressive b-road stormer theres nothing better than an elise, if you want a roadster to cruise, travel but also to spank it round a track or a small little road, the Miata is a much better allrounder.

And my god it’s fun drifting my little beast, especially in the rain! Top tip don’t try that in an elise… It’s so f***ing twitchy!
