Its pretty much standard engine with 850 injectors, will be taking it to tuners in new year. Looking for anywhere from 300 - 350hp.

There are a few turbi kits and supercharger kits but for the money the 1jz is the better option if you want power

I know turbo kits are expensive around 3000 euro… There is one guy in England that sells kits. But a engine swap is more complicated like what els do you need?

Ive done a few engine swaps and i was suprised how easy the 1jz is easy was to do. I dont have a garage, just a shed and driveway. The engine drops straight in with gs300/is300 engine mounts and brackets. With an r154 you can use the is200 gearbox mount. No cutting or drilling. Wiring is a little tricky but im running standalone which is easy enough and i wired it myself but there are placea out there that will do it for you. Custom propshaft and thats about all the major stuff. Fuel regulator and return line. In all will cost £4-6000 depending on how lucky you get with parts. If you use the non vvti 1jz they are cheaper. The 1g fe is only good for 250hp, them turbo kits really do push the limits at 300hp once maxed you cant really do much more with them. You will need some sort of engine management and injectors etc for them turbo kits anyway. By the time youve done all that the 1jz/2jz is only a bit more effort.

At the end of the day you have an is200 with around 300hp and the more you spend on it the more power you get once you get bored.

Goto www.my.is and there is a members build section, you will see mine in there and theres loads of help with an engine swap.
