Real racing 3. #rant

So more than a month ago I re-downloaded Real Racing 3 saying it couldn’t be that bad, everyone says it’s a great game. Well I uninstalled it a week later. People ask why don’t you like real racing 3? Well…..it’s everything I hate about a free moblie games. First off why does everyone appreciate the progression? It’s way too slow, 1k-2k CR per race doesn’t get you enough money to progress without grinding. A average of 800k per car makes things extremely difficult to get a decent car. Second, you might as well place a wall where the AI would be and it would be more productive than the AI. The AI have no race craft they just hit the brakes way too early into the corner, the punt anything in their way including other AI. The AI block the apex, pushing you off the track, and not leaving the space. Third, I know it’s a free game, but why is the gold such a focus in the game. Everything revoles around gold liveries, cars, and upgrades(opinional). Also the amount of gold you receive is tiny compared to what you need.

Fourth, multiplayer….. where do I start. The Net code is awful with cars lagging all over the circuit “Colliding” with cars that are 4 car lengths back. Collisions are so stupid you barely touch a car and you slow down to a crawl. Trolls are everywhere they ruin people’s races costing them their repair times and their sanity. Now we get to the worst parts of the game, The ridicules handling model, the repair system, and the Rigged Events. Let’s start with the lesser of three evils, the Events. the events promise a “Free” car. The reason I put “Free” in quotations is because you will be spending all of your gold to get the car anyway. The time limit is too short and you have to wait till the day ends to start a new section. You have 7 days where if you get behind a day you might as well say goodbye to the “free car.” Why does everyone support the handling model, it’s not as good as everyone says it is. It’s like driving on ice out of corners and understeer into corners. The brakes etheir don’t slow you down or they send you into a slide. Once your sideways out of a corner it’s race over, the AI cars go faster when they’re infront and extremely slow when their behind

Finally we get to the REPAIR SYSTEM. Arguably the worst part of the entire game. It fits the free game formula of play for 4 minutes now wait 4 hours to play again. This is the main reason why I hate this game. Why play for 10 minutes when I can play Gear.club for an hour or less. Also the cars are so fragile you would be lucky to race in two events before waiting an hour for your car to be repaired. So why, why can’t this be good it’s so disappointing and rage inducing. If only if was more like it’s predecessors instead of a disappointing mess that it is today
