Nice car! Planing on keeping it stock or are you gonna give it a weightloss program and a bit of go?
Thanks man! Definitely going to do a resto-mod eventually. But my Dad and I have had it for almost 15 years. Getting it better piece by piece. No body mods though, I love the way it looks!
Digging the new Yorkers thinking about getting one. And so happens to be same paint. Any words of wisdom for them?
Well a C-body Mopar is huge. Everything is oversized with this thing. Length is 18’ if I remember correctly, so garage space is key. We are currently having a Wilwood four-wheel disc brake conversion setup put on. The original all drum setup was just too inefficient for todays use. And updating the shocks is always a good idea. They are cruisers, not racers. Meant to be enjoyed leisurely, even with a Mopar big block under the hood. But removing the HUGE V-twin a/c compressor, along with all of the other a/c parts, and putting on a March serpentine pulley kit really wakes her up! Our biggest reoccurring problem has been the power steering pump leaking and failing. No other uncommon issues for a 60’s era carburated American muscle cruiser!
