Need for Speed Payback: Unofficial Car List

Whatevs, too lazy to go back and add on, so anything “new” is at bottom.

So I’ve been doing some searching around the official trailers, websites, whatever to see what cars there are. I took to the internet to see if anybody had done the same but really haven’t seen that much surprisingly. Maybe I’m just looking in the wrong places, but I’ve decided to make a guide of all the known cars so far, plus some speculations.

Aston Martin DB11

So this was posted on Need for Speed’s Instagram just after EA Play. Pretty stoked about this addition; should be fun to customize.

Audi S5 (Edit: Confirmed)

So this car that Jess is in. It could be something already announced but I don’t feel like it is. I’ve tried doing some research and there are some people that think this car is an Audi S5. Tell me what you guys think.

BMW M3 (E46)

I know I’m not the only one that flipped out when this appeared for a split second in the trailer. (Most Wanted E46 M3 GTR cameo, it’s time)

BMW M4 GTS

I thought I saw it for a split second driving by in the reveal trailer, and I was right, as it was confirmed at EA Play.

BMW M5 (F90)

Honestly thought this was a M3 at first but then I read articles on how EA spilled the beans about the F90 M5. GG, EA. GG.

BMW X6M

Thinking this car might not be playable and that they’ll function the same way as the Porsche Cayennes that would case Jack around in NFS The Run. Could be wrong (and I hope I am).

Chevy Bel Air

NFS 2015 really lacked in the muscle car department. Payback is already blowing this out of the water. This Bel Air was seen tearing it up offroad. Looks promising.

Chevy C10

Honestly, I’m pretty glad on the amount of diversity this time around for a NFS game. Good to see that the truck guys get some toys to play with.

Chevrolet Camaro SS (1967)

I think the last game this appeared in was Undercover. Good to have it back.

Chevrolet Corvette (C7)

Went on the official website, clicked “News”, “Oh, that looks like a C7 Corvette. OH IT IS A C7 CORVETTE.” Think it’s a Z06 cause of the splitter.

This could also resemble a Z06 in the trailer. The more I look at it, the more I think its a Corvette Z06. My first initial thoughts was a Ferrari of some sort, but this is probably a Z06.

Dodge Challenger SRT-8

We have the facelifted one this time around. lowkey hopes its secretly a Hellcat

Dodge Charger R/T (1969)

You have no idea how long I’ve awaited the return of this car.

Ford F150 SVT Raptor

I remember back in when the initial trailer for Most Wanted 2012 dropped, I remember having all these thoughts about smashing up the cops in a big truck. Now we can do it again. (I also remember the Hummer H1 that was also supposed to be in the game. NOW IS THE TIME TO REDEEM YOURSELVES EA)

Passed this off as a 350Z and continued watching the trailer. Noticed the headlight shape was a little small watching it multiple times. Did further investigations and the roofline matches a 86 perfectly. I see what you’re trying to hide there, Mac.

You think they might bruh back other cars from 2015, like the rwb 911 or maybe the 458, with customization this time lol. Also, a smaller detail, you know the special tires on the horizon edition cars in forza horizon 3? That sh*t is lit, idk what it’s called but I’ve seen it in real life to and I really hope they add something like that, but like I said smaller detail :/

I expect cars from 2015 to appear in Payback. Probably not Ferrari now, seeing as neons are confirmed haha. Also, yeah, those small colored details on the tires. Pretty lit. Would be cool to see.

You think they’ll bring back the same body kits for the frz86? I’m in love with the idea of aimgain mixed with rocket bunny

100% they should. I feel as if most of the parts for existing cars are coming back but with more options, sort of like how cars that appeared in both Carbon and Most Wanted had the same part selections, but in Carbon, there was more to choose from.

They have an old charger, an old comaro, a gnx and a judge seen on another list, but there’s no God damn chevelle. I understand the comaro because it’s so popular and same with the charger but there’s a
gnx and a judge instead of a chevelle? I’m astonished and if they don’t add the chevelle I’m not touching need for speed again in my life
