The Lotus Exige S 260 RGB

Well, another special edition Lotus. What a surprise. BUT WAIT, I swear, this one is cool. Personally, my favorite special edition. Just look at it! A big rear wing, roof scoop, exposed bolts, what a beauty! But what makes this one different from the rest?

It was made in 2011, as a tribute to Lotus’s long-serving engineering director, Roger Becker, as he had just retired. It also marked the end of use of the Toyota 1.8 L engine, due to emissions regulations. This left the 1.6 to carry on. It featured a 257 bhp supercharged engine, which helps this have amazing acceleration.

It inherits a stiffer sub-frame from the 260 cup, lightweight wheels, and all the luxuries included in the Touring, Sport and Performance option packs. These include pretty much every comfort Lotus offers. Even air conditioning. The other distinctive features are a numbered plaque, Becker’s signature on the rear end and a monochrome Lotus badge on the nose. There are only four colors: white, black, yellow and grey.

I think this is my favorite lookin gspecial editiopn to date, and it has some cool features. Thanks for reading.
