LS or Coyote?

Hey guys, hope I’m posting this in the right community. I got a big question that has been on my head recently. I have an idea for a project car, I plan on converting a 2nd gen (last gen) Crown Vic to a drag/sleeper car.

In case you don’t know, Crown Vics come with an SOHC 250HP V8 which isn’t all that great and lacks any power potential.

So I had it in my mind that I was either gonna have a Coyote or an LS, but I couldn’t make my mind up. I don’t know which one will be cheaper say to achieve 700+HP, or any reliability issues that I might incounter going to that high of a HP number.

So, I want you beautiful CTzens to help me decide what to get!

In the mean time, check this Crown Vic

P.S. I’m getting either one of them from a junkyard
P.P.S. I’m open for other suggestions!

I think the coyote would be a better motor for it. Nice choice of car by the way, I love Crown Victorias.

I just love the simplicity of the interior, and how huge the trunk is, I could sit comfortably in it. And whenever you feel bored, drop it to 1st or 2nd and here that glorious V8 sing. Also I can’t forget how you could just gas it and let the rear end slip. And with how long the wheelbase is, you can easily control it.
