Datsun GX

A classic coupe made in South Africa, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. It was made in 1973–1978.

The Datsun Gx was is powered by 6 types of engines. A 1.2L -1.6L. The most powerful engine it came with was the 1.6 L16T (ZA only). The L16T was basically the same as the L16 but had twin SU carbs, flat top pistons (same as ones used in 240Z) and a slightly different head. It produces 109 hp (81 kW). You can get one with a 4 speed automatic box or a 3/4/5 speed manual box.

Its a cheap cool car to get and its easy to modify with its big engine bay and RWD layout. You can pick one up for $2 000 - $6 000. Its a good first car.
