Ford Falcon XR6
2005 Australian Delivered Ford Falcon BA MkII XR6
This is my pride and joy. After starting out as a commuter for the average Australian grandparents, the car has come a fair way far. Powered by the legendary Ford “Barra” Straight 6 Engine. Naturally Aspirated at the moment, but have some other interesting plans for it once my license opens up in 2018.’
Some Specs.
-Ford 4.0L “Barra” DOHC Straight 6 - Naturally Aspirated - the highly reliable “Taxi engine” is good for about 244bhp in stock form. With intake and exhaust should see some more but it is untuned at the moment.
- Stage 2 shift kitted 4 speed Auto - (Yeah.. while the 4 speed is somewhat prehistoric and ancient for this model Falcon but it still is a really durable box. The shift kit actually brings the slushiness to life.)
Current Modifications -
- Custom Xforce Cat-Back Exhaust
- Full F6 Typhoon intake with K&N Filter
- LED Angel Eyes
- LED Light conversions all round
-JDM Style front splitter lip & eyebrows - Grampa spec visors and hood protector
- DJR Racing Bobtail
- Simmons F-Series 20” Wheels
- Lowered on King Springs SSL front and SSSL Rears
The video linked is of my exhaust the day it was modified.
Watch this space - other things coming
Cheers for checking my ride out
