Switching crappy KSport c/o's to BC Racing Coilovers..

Late night at the shop- still in the process of swapping out my worthless Ksport coilovers to BC Racing BR Type c/o’s. Both are true coilovers meaning they eliminate the stock spring buckets in the rear.. My experience with Ksport only lasted 3 yrs. One of the rear c/o’s decided to quit working properly therefore my G was hoppin’ around on only the spring! Obviously I got what I payed for. Learn from me, don’t skimp out on cheap azz coilovers!! Researched the BC’s & they seemed like a good fit for my use- DD and Drifting….. We shall see how they hold up?!

Tidbit for the rear extenders (aka dampening adjusters)- you have to bore out the existing hole in the body anywhere from 1/2” or 3/4” it’s up to you… For G’s:: bore out the existing hole in the body (below the decklid). To gain access to this area it’s in the rear fender well (before installing the new c/o’s you will see an existing hole appx 1/4” diameter), I used a step drill bit. That said you’ll have access to dampening adjustments thru the decklid where the extenders will stick out. I routed them thru the plastic anchor caps. For 350z’s same deal, bore out the exisitng hole located on the rear strut brace (my350z.com there’s a DIY)- main difference here either remove the rear plastic strut panels leaving them off or drill another hole thru them for a cleaner look.
