K24 Miata Swap!

I’m thinking about doing this K24 swap to my 97’ NA Miata, what do you guys think? Do you guys think it will fit in my bay? What are some suggestions for engine swaps! Thanx in advanced!!

im pretty sure taylor ray is doing something like this on youtube, you should try checking out his videos. i believe a k24 would fit just fine if people can fit an LS in there

Between a k24 and an Ls? I would go k24 lighter and wont completly destroy the weight balance also the k series would cost way less to do but both have tons of kits available so you wont have to do much if any fabrication

Yeah I want looking at kmiata.com and all the items I need comes out to 5 thousand something! So idk and it’s only a first car! So I’m not sure of what to do!

a k24 can fit fine, one of the guys in my mita club used to have a k20 swap.
Do you know how muhc a k24 weighs tho?

Well if its your first car i would say tinker around with it stock and worry more about supporting mods such as suspension, braking, wheels and tyres, and when your ready for more power rebuild the engine with forged internals and slap a turbo or supercharger then work to a swap, for the most part a swap is the most difficult part im modding a car so you can further your own skills in not only working on cars but also driving them

Ok awesome, but the thing is, is that I have to swap the engine anyways, so is it good just to get a stock engine for now and roll with that for a bit?
