Unpopular Opinion: I hate the Lexus LFA

I hate the LFA. I don’t like the styling, I don’t like the sound (ikr), I don’t like the fact that toyota built this.

Okay, first off, the styling. The front and the side look fine. But the back of the car looks just sad. Those rear grills(?) are too narrow and tall. They make the rear tall, which makes the car look not as sleek as it actually is. They also look like mascara-d woman crying.

Second, the sound. This is a very personal preference, but I hope some of the CTzens agree with me. I hate the sound. It’s too high pitched. It sounds like a wayyy smaller displacement engine. If someone gave me this car for free, I probably will get sick of the sound within a month. Now, I am really curious what would happen if someone drop a glasspack exhaust in it.

Finally, I don’t like the way Lexus is going. Much like the hated not so iconic Lexus grill that every single model in Lexus line up has, why?!?!?! Why do you(Toyota) want to prove something? If you wanted a fresh change, maybe you could’ve made the Supra?! Now I don’t know the buisness behind decisions. So I can’t say that anything was a wrong dicision. However, I just hate to see a legit luxury sedan building company becoming an ugly, identical GT pumping cashcow.

Phew… Now all I have to do is embrace the hate. BRING IT. I WANT EM ALL

Very good post. I do love the LFA, but I appreciate the fact that you are able to backup your opinion.

Thanks man. I never thought I would get a compliment from a LFA lover. I did some pretty bad roastage to the car.

Good argument, now take it back 😠

Jk, everyone has their opinion and not everyone likes high pitched engines. I like all kinds of engine noises except for the really bad Honda ones.
