There has been a turbo version of that engine, maybe you can source all the conversion parts? Geat little beast, only problem is the gearbox. Wish I could get one but they are getting very rare over here.
As far as I know there has never been a gti - turbo, only 1.0 3 cilinder.
This car had a custom turbo setup making 185hp and 250nm, but since we like pushing the car for a few hours straight, it wouldnt really work.
Now the turbo setup has been removed the car runs pretty much faultless.
Nice Swift, what 24hr race have you done with it?
We’ve races 24h of oschersleben, organised by a dutch organiser. Its was a really grassroots style event, but there were some big teams too
Awesome, I had a Swift from 96 as my first Car. Now my sister drives it. Such a great Car :)
Sadly its just a 1.0 3 cylinder.
